I'M SO SICK OF GRACIE'S TEACHER!!! 
That woman has NO patience!! I'm SORRY my kid likes to TALK!!! She comes by it honestly! Her sister talks NON-STOP! It's GENETIC! Either she's not paying attention or she's talking. Argh!!
Honestly, I think she's bored! I don't think she is being challenged at all. When we do worksheets at home she flies right through them. Three weeks ago, she was frustrated trying to figure out how to put TWENTY spelling words in alphabetical order.....remember she's in SECOND grade!!! Well, after she and I (emphasis on 'I') worked on it together with me giving her pointers, now she gets it done faster than I can! Now why can't that teacher help her? No individualized attention! Ug!
Anyway, so now when her teacher talks to me, I just say, "Oh, okay...." and Gracie and I go about our business. I DO NOTHING.
I don't think it's fair that the poor kid is in trouble constantly at school! She's not going to be in trouble at home too! 
Okay...I got that off my chest....... 
have you thought anymore about changing teachers?
